Tijuana is just over the border from San Diego and is most easily accessible by taking the trolley from downtown San Diego and elsewhere to the border.

Ensenada is located about 60 miles (100 km.) south of the border and is accessible by taking the toll road from Tijuana. It is a popular vacation destination with many beachside hotels.

Mexicali is located in the Baja California desert just south of the border and south of El Centro, California. San Felipe is located about 100 miles (160 km.) south of the border on the east coast of Baja California, that is on the shores of Sea of Cortez (Gulf of California). It's a isolated desert vacation spot.
